A Bit About Me
Born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan with a brief stint in Farmington Hills. I attended Lutheran schools from Pre-K through High School, leaving me with some great stories and even greater religious baggage.

From 2013 to 2017 I attended Michigan State University's James Madison College. After four years I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations & Policy and Comparative Cultures & Politics, with Minors in Women's & Gender Studies and LGBTQ & Sexuality Studies.

From 2018-2021 I lived in Washington, DC attending the American University Washington College of Law. There I survived January 6th (not close to the Capitol, thankfully) and was the proud Executive Editor of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. During my Jr. Staff year on the Journal, I was named Spader of the Year and had the privilege of having my Comment selected for publication. I currently live in Waterford, MI and work for Oakland County as an attorney. I am currently in the market for a literary agent for my professionally edited manuscript, Psalms of Nicodemus. See the Literary Projects tab for more details!
Rook (she/her) is a 1.5 year old Dalmatian with an insatiable desire for stuffed toy fluff. However, if you have anything cronchy that will do just fine, especially if it's a frozen blueberry or carrot.

Her pastimes include chewing on Buffalo horns or Deer antlers (ethically sourced), taking naps on the couch, climbing onto the windowsill when Ben isn't looking, and digging the cushions of my dog bed relentlessly.
